bienalle at cockatoo island

I’ve been waiting for the Biennale to start back up in Sydney since the end of last year! It’s basically an art exhibition that runs in Sydney every two years and showcases a variety of international work across different galleries and locations! Some of the locations include the Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Museum of Contemporary Art and Carriageworks. The Biennale at Cockatoo Island in particular has always been my favourite! It’s currently running from the 18th of March until the 5th of June. I’ve been to two previous exhibits and have always been in awe of the art I’ve seen there! Here are a couple of snaps that I took on the day! Although I did enjoy my time there I feel like it was not as interesting as previous years. I think that may have been because they have spread out the artwork more amongst other locations so I will definitely take the time to explore other artwork while the Biennale is still on!

If any of you live in Sydney, will you be attending the Biennale?

Another adventure! You’re definitely getting me into the mood to travel east and book in a few exhibitions to visit! πŸ˜€ So lucky to live in Sydney and be able to go to these! Perth do lots but its always over East that are the best ones.
