homecooking

My partner (Jono) and I love food.. and with that we LOVE to cook. Recently we havn’t cooked as much as I would have liked but I’m sure over the next few weeks we will get back into the swing of things! Jono has collected quite a few cooking books over the years and we’ve tried to cook from every one of them! I think my favourite cooking books include “Asian after work” by Adam Liaw, “Plenty” and “Jerusalem” by Yotam Ottolenghi. I don’t think we really stick to a particular cuisine but I think i’ve been able to try heaps of different food just be cooking it ourselves rather than eating out and spending heaps of money. YAY FOR SAVING! Anyway, here are a couple of photos of things we have cooked together! I’m sure in the future I’ll post more detailed accounts of our cooking adventures ๐Ÿ˜›

waterlemons is back…

Hi everyone! SO…. this isn’t a new website. If you’ve stumbled upon this blog from somewhere random, yay welcome! but perhaps for the people who have visited before and are confused as to why it looks different and all the posts are gone…. well my blog deleted itself ๐Ÿ™ I was overseas for about two weeks in china and wasn’t really able to check my email (as gmail is censored there) and unfortunately did not read that my hosting was about to expire. I was given chances to buy more hosting but I either didn’t see them or was to lazy to read them and didn’t realise that they would actually delete my blog.. so now everything is gone. All my posts about Japan and cooking and all my photos that I posted are gone. *sigh* My mistake. The main thing is that I was able to keep my domain name! I was very afraid that my domain name would be gone aswell but yay for it still being here!

I’m still in the process of fixing this blog layout up but I will try to post as many things up as I can for 2016! ๐Ÿ˜€
